Walt Disney World News
- Right now, Guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort will be able to participate in a test using facial recognition technology to enter the theme parks. This test will take place through April 23. The Walt Disney World Resort is shifting focus to utilizing more and more touchless experiences and using facial recognition technology is one way to do that. How does it work? The technology that is being tested actually captures an image of a Guest’s face. That image is then converted into a unique number, which is then associated with the form of admission that is being used to enter the park. More details can be found here.
