- A brand new shopping experience will be opening at EPCOT this summer called the Creations Shop. This will be replacing MouseGear and it will offer a large amount of EPCOT merchandise, as well as more great Walt Disney World souvenirs. In addition, Club Cool will also be returning. - Since Walt Disney World reopened, they have been following very strict face mask policies. Currently, Guests age 2 and up must wear face coverings at almost all times while at the parks and resorts. However, Disney has updated their stipulations stating that Guests may remove face coverings while actively eating, drinking, AND now when taking photos outdoors. Guests must remain stationary and keep proper physical distancing when face masks are removed. More details can be found here.
- With the end of Disney’s Magical Express happening on January 1, 2022, Guests have been asking the ever important question….how will we get from Orlando International Airport to the Walt Disney World Resort now? Mears recently shared that a new way for Guests to get to and from the resort would be coming called Mears Connect, debuting in January 2022. With Mears Connect, Guests will be able to schedule their service, luggage handling, and return trips from resorts to the airport. Guests will be able to start making reservations beginning May 2021. In addition, pricing will be shared later along with the launch of a custom reservation platform. More information can be found here.
