- Walt Disney World visitors now have some new options for the Disney Genie+ service. At the Magic Kingdom, the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is now part of the choices. Moving over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you’ll have the option to Mickey Mouse or Minnie Mouse at the Disney Stars at Red Carpet Dreams. More details can be found here.
- The EPCOT Experience, located in the Odyssey pavilion at EPCOT has closed. No specific plans for the space have been announced, but there are apparently new experiences in development for the Odyssey. The former exhibit featured a 360 degree movie and projection mapping to tell the story of Epcot’s updates.
- Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is set to see some huge changes over the next few years! First there will be a new table service restaurant and bakery called The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers. This new eatery is expected to open in 2023 and will offer both savory and dessert menus. There will also be changes to the BoardWalk Bakery which will become a new sandwich shop. In addition, the lobby, lounge and guest rooms will receive light and airy touches. Finally, just off the lobby, a new coffee bar with artisanal beverages and quick bites will be available. - Local Green Orlando, a healthy eating food truck, has now arrived at Food Truck Park on the West Side in Disney Springs. Most dishes are priced around $15 and include burgers, wraps, sandwiches, street corn and air fries.
