Have you ever been to Epcot & wondered what the Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure is all about? Well, I’ve got a review for you! This is a fun activity for young ones, and the young at heart, and a great way to explore some lesser known sights of the World Showcase pavilions.
During the activity, become a secret agent, test your skills, and help Agent P defeat Dr. Doofenshmirtz during a scavenger hunt!
Your adventure starts at the podium, which is located towards Future World, just before world showcase begins. In simple terms, the Cast Members will set you up with an app which is essentially a scavenger hunt all over the pavilions. You can also just visit the website agentpwsa.com on your phone, or the Play Disney Parks app while at Epcot & bypass the podium. It’s kind of fun to check out the podium, so that’s usually where I start! Using your smartphone, you can trigger Perry the Platypus to do different things at various locations in each country.
You start by selecting what country you’re heading to next. The app will then give you a clue of where exactly to go in that particular country. When you arrive at that location, you can press a button and make a fun thing happen! For example, SPOILER ALERT, behind the France pavilion, Perry zooms through on a zipline! Or, in the Japan pavilion, Perry comes through on a boat!
Pavilions that you will get to explore during your adventure may include:
- China Pavilion
- France Pavilion
- Germany Pavilion
- Japan Pavilion
- Mexico Pavilion
- United Kingdom Pavilion
As an FYI-your save progress only lasts for one day. That means, if you don’t finish your mission when Epcot closes, you will have to start fresh on your next Epcot day.
Without giving too much away, to sum it all up, this is a fun adventure for all ages, but particularly young ones as an incentive to ‘travel the world’ at Epcot. Epcot is often considered an adults park (which I tend to disagree with!) & sometimes really small children need something to keep them intrigued at each pavilion.
Even if you don’t have young kids, I encourage people of all ages to do this! If you’re traveling the pavilions anyways, why not check out some unique things along the way? I recommend checking this out on your next Walt Disney World Vacation!
