Have you booked your vacation to Walt Disney World and want to know what else might be going on during the time you are there? I know when I’m planning my trips, I always like to have an idea of other things that are available to do. Of course, we normally know about what’s available during the holiday season, but The Mouse For Less has deeper information that gives us the insight that we need.
If you haven’t seen it, yet, we have a page devoted to annual events throughout the year. There is a tab for each month of the year that leads down to the corresponding section. When I click on the tab for May and scroll down a little, I see…
a heading for Star Wars Weekends. This starts this Friday! Are you going to Star Wars Weekends this year? Well, as you can see there is a brief synopsis of the event, but if you click on the heading where the arrow is pointing, you are taken to the information page for Star Wars Weekends. This is the page that has an incredible amount of information for planning your trip during that time!
But it doesn’t just have to be for Star Wars Weekends… What if you are going in October? I went back to the original annual events page, and clicked the tab for October. This time, I was taken to the October section of the page. October starts with Halloween/Fall events and is followed by Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. If you are interested in going to that event, keep an eye on that page for updates as they come out.
The other nice thing about this page is that there is more listed than just the larger annual events. I know it may be a little difficult to see the printing in the blue box above, so why don’t you pull up the July tab and scroll down to this box to join me in taking a look at it. Did you know that Epcot celebrates Bastille Day on July 14, 2014 with special family activities at the France Pavilion? What about the special year-long series of events to encourage families to learn more about nature? July’s nature event is “Big Cat Day” on July 29, 2014 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
So, when you are planning your Walt Disney World trip, make sure to stop by The Mouse For Less’s annual events page to see what all is occurring during your trip!
Thanks for this info! I just realized we are planning our Disney trip at the most busy time of year- Christmas week. EEK!
