The newest addition to the Magic Kingdom’s restaurant line-up is the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station. Michael J. Hewell, better known as TourGuideMiKE, shares his scoop on the new eatery.
For the times when you think you’ll scream if you eat another hamburger, and you don’t want to bother with a table service restaurant, and you’re in the Magic Kingdom, and you’re somewhere near Tomorrowland – you might consider the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station for lunch or dinner!
While the restaurant location is not new (it’s the old “Plaza Pavilion”), the menu is completely new and makes this quick-service location a true hidden treasure! The new menu features an all-Asian lineup – meaning everything from Chinese to Thai. Along with the new menu, the old yellow and orange paint in the restaurant has been replaced with cool blues and purples (matching the rest of Tomorrowland).
Their seating is in that odd category of ‘not really outdoors, but not indoors either.’ The multi-level seating area is entirely covered, but you are exposed to the elements if it’s a hot day. (Just wanted you to know in case it’s important to ‘ya!) Although eating hot noodles during a cool rainy afternoon can be perfect, it’s not so fab during the hot months!
Menu Examples: Chicken, shrimp, or vegetarian noodle bowl (quite large!), Pork steamed bun sandwich, Stir fry selections, Asian-inspired salads, fried eggrolls, and the always-popular potstickers. Children’s selections include rice noodle soup and chicken stir fry.
How to Find: The Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station is located in a corner between Main Street, U.S.A., and Tomorrowland. When you get to the end of Main Street, turn right and follow the walkway past the yellow and white umbrellas and to the end. You’ll see it tucked back in the corner! This is also my favorite way to walk directly to Tomorrowland in the mornings … 😉
