The rhythm eventually got it. This summer, Bongo’s Cuban Cafe will be closing at Disney Springs. The Gloria Estefan owned restaurant which is situated in the West Side section of the shopping and dining district is closing because the family will be going a different direction.
Bongo’s serves Cuban-style cuisine such as churrasco, vaca frita with seafood such as shrimp and fish, black beans, tostones, and maduros. There is also a quick service menu available for Guests.
There is no word on what will be taking the place of Bongos when it officially closes. The 22 year lease for Bongos will end in August.
