Can you believe that in just a few short months, the D23 Expo will be upon us again? The Disney fan convention held in Anaheim is usually a hotbed full of juicy news. Matter of fact, it was at the 2017 version of the Expo where we learned about the Guardians of the Galaxy Coaster, the Tron Coaster, and the Disney Skyliner. Previous years have seen announcements of New Fantasyland, oh and that land opening up this week – Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. So, needless to say….the Expo is where the news gets released!
This year, Disney is already hyping the Expo and sharing information that we’ll learn about additional changes coming to Epcot. Now, we already know about some of those changes – an updated front entrance, the aforementioned Guardians of the Galaxy Coaster, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in the France Pavilion, the new play pavilion, plus a number of new restaurants. But this year, we’ll learn what updates Disney plans to make in the core section of the park, right behind Spaceship Earth.
In addition, we learned that there will be brand new icons for the pavilions, including that play pavilion I mentioned earlier.
Finally, we’ll learn more about the updated films coming to Future World (in The Land) and World Showcase (in China, Canada, and France), as well as more about the new dining experiences being added to Epcot.
So, where should you go for all the news when the D23 Expo takes place? Well, if you can’t make it to Anaheim from August 23-25, you will want to make sure you’re following along here for all the great details. I am sure there will be a lot!
