Welcome to Epcot’s Disney Vacation Club Member Lounge!
I always get excited when I visit new spots in a Disney theme park that I’ve never seen before. Now that my parents are Disney Vacation Club members, I got to visit the DVC Lounge in the Imagination pavilion at Epcot!
The Disney Vacation Club lounge is located on the second floor, and you need to be a DVC member to enter; you need to present your membership card and photo ID. Each DVC member is allowed to bring up to five guests with him or her.
The stairs that lead to the Lounge
The lounge is open from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. daily. There is something very cool about being inside one of the iconic pyramids.
Comfortable seating inside the pyramid
Strollers are not allowed inside the Disney Vacation Club lounge. Cast Members request that you park them in the attraction’s stroller parking area. It should go without saying, but children may not be left here unattended.
Originally the lounge was slated to be open through 2017, but Disney announced that it will stay open throughout 2018 for DVC members. It’s a great place to sit, relax, and recharge. (Both yourself and your electronics!)
Seating area with charging station
There is comfortable seating with small tables, along with charging stations for your personal electronics. On this gray, rainy day, we could see Spaceship Earth outside the windows.
Look at that view!
There are also Playstations with games here. You can help yourself to Coca Cola products, coffee, tea and hot cocoa. Cups, lids, sweeteners and half and half are available. If members or guests use the Coke Freestyle machine, they must use the cups provided and not fill their own personal mugs and/or bottles.
Complimentary soft drinks, coffee, tea and hot cocoa
There is complimentary Wi-Fi here, and computers are available. There is also a desk manned by Cast Members who can assist you with vacation planning, and answer any questions you may have about your membership.
We very much enjoyed the opportunity to put our feet up and relax here. We were told that the Lounge has limited capacity, but it was definitely not crowded on the day we visited.
