So, I’m currently at Walt Disney World and I wanted to share with you all this incredible fun cupcake you can get if you’re visiting the parks within the next week or so, during the Thanksgiving holiday festivities!
Isn’t he adorable! The story goes that I was looking for something sweet to snack on while I was visiting Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and came across this little guy in the refrigerated section of the newly refurbished Captain Cook’s! He was so cute! I just had to buy and sample him! I mean, it is all in the name of research right?
So, sample him I did! The turkey cupcake was a plain vanilla cupcake; there was no filling…just straight cake. The icing was a light icing; it didn’t have too much sugar. It was kind of a plain icing. The best part though was the turkey’s head. (That’s a weird statement). It was made out of a mocha-tasting chocolate and was delicious! Overall though, I thoroughly enjoyed Mr. Turkey Cupcake. (Because that’s what I’m calling this cupcake now.) He was moist and delightful; just like a turkey should be!
Since this is the last Foodie Friday before Thanksgiving, I want to wish you all a wonderful holiday! I hope you get to spend it with family or friends. I’m cooking dinner this year for my family, but maybe instead, of turkey, I should just consider bringing home Mr. Turkey Cupcakes and have that be dinner. I don’t think my family would mind, right?
What do you think? Would you give Mr. Turkey Cupcake a try?
