Wow!!! How are we already in August?! Didn’t summer just begin?
Since we are in August, we are now officially one month away from the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival to begin, starting on September 27 (and lasts until November 11.)
There are many great activities that surround the Festival, from the special premium events, to the demonstrations and seminars, to the Eat to the Beat Concert Series, to what is arguable the thing that most people look forward to during the Food and Wine Festival…the Marketplace Booths.

There are a ton of great options that I personally cannot wait to dine on, with my absolute favorite booths being Ireland, because of the Fisherman’s Pie; France due to the Crème Brûlée au Chocolat au Lait; and the Kalua Pork Slider from Hawaii. Of course, each year, new options are added and booth menus are changed, making me come up with a HUGE list of things I want to try for this year.
My suggestion, for those who do want to eat around World Showcase, is to make sure to share. There is NO way to eat everything you want all by yourself. If you do want to eat everything by yourself, make sure that you go back more than one day.
If visiting, try to visit on the weekdays. The weekends are crazy busy thanks to locals.
Finally, if you are visiting, consider getting the gift cards that they sell for the event, which have a stretchy bracelet attached so you can carry it on your wrist. That way, you can set the amount on it that you want and attempt to not overspend. If you are on the dining plans, the snack credits are eligible for many of the items that are sold at the Marketplaces.
