Did you know that today is National Donut Day? To celebrate, we have the perfect treat you should get on your next Walt Disney World vacation.
Available in the Magic Kingdom are the Mickey Mouse Donuts. These have been introduced to tie into Mickey and Minnie’s 90th birthday celebrations. The one thing that is incredible about this Mickey Mouse Donut is its size! Let me tell you….it’s massive! Like, I’m talking about the ears being close to the size of normal sized donuts and then the head being another slightly larger third donut. This donut is practically the size of your face. These treats are so large they actually come in their own personal pizza-sized box! I am going to strongly suggest that this treat be shared. Unless you want just an insane sugar rush.
The giant, yeasty Mickey Mouse Donut comes with either vanilla icing, chocolate icing or strawberry icing. Oh and they are covered with a nice coating of sprinkles! Each one costs $8.99 each and the best part, they are available as a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan! (What?! Seriously…..what an amazing deal for those on the Disney Dining Plan.)
If you are looking to pick up one of these Mickey Mouse Donuts, you can visit Cheshire Cafe in Fantasyland or The Lunching Pad in Tomorrowland. Oh and the good news…these donuts seem to be sticking around due to their immense popularity.
