Enjoying a slice on the terrazzo of Naples Ristorante e Bar
National Pizza Party Day? I didn’t know there was such a thing! But when my daughter informed me that this day actually did exist, and takes place on May 17, it got me thinking about my favorite places to grab a slice at the Disneyland Resort.
NAPOLINI – DOWNTOWN DISNEY
Napolini is the quick-casual pizzeria located right next to Naples Ristorante e Bar in Downtown Disney. The emphasis here is on customizable pizzas. You can choose from one of their signature pizzas, or build your own, and have it served fresh to you! The crust is crispy, the mozzarella perfectly melty, and the toppings diverse.
NAPLES RISTORANTE E BAR – DOWNTOWN DISNEY
If you’d rather have your pizza in a more relaxing setting, the table service neighbor of Napolini, Naples Ristorante e Bar, also offers pizza. In case you were concerned about your options, the current menu shows a whopping THIRTY-ONE choices. So if you can’t find what you’re looking for…well, I don’t know what to tell you. You can sit in the airy downstairs dining room, an upstairs dining room that features a wall sculpture with Italian hand gestures, or my favorite, the outdoor terrazzo on the second floor, where you can watch the goings-on in Downtown Disney below you.
ALIEN PIZZA PLANET – DISNEYLAND PARK
This large Tomorrowland eatery has ample indoor and outdoor seating, and has gone through some changes over the years. For a long time it was Redd Rockett’s Pizza Port. And a few years ago, they began serving pizza and pasta with a Star Wars theme. With Galaxy’s Edge opening at the end of this month, the quick-casual restaurant has gone through another theme change. Now it’s all about Toy Story, and those loveable aliens who worship The Claw. One thing has remained constant: This is still the place to get huge slices of pizza in Disneyland Park!

The name says it all. This simple quick-casual restaurant in the Paradise Gardens section of the park serves pizza by the slice or the pie. There is also a kid-sized pizza available for kids ages 3 through 9. The current toppings available are cheese, pepperoni, or vegetarian, but the menu does occasionally change. If someone in your party is not in the mood for your family’s pizza party, there are different pasta offerings as well.
GOOFY’S KITCHEN – DISNEYLAND HOTEL
When you think of pizza toppings, peanut butter and jelly probably don’t spring immediately to mind. But Peanut Butter and Jelly Pizza has been a staple at Goofy’s Kitchen for decades, and this fan-favorite doesn’t seem to be going anywhere soon! This character restaurant is very popular, so if you want to dine with Goofy and his pals and enjoy a huge, varied buffet (including this famously weird pizza) then by all means make a reservation!
