Disneyland may be working on getting a Marvel-themed area currently, but you know, you actually can already see attractions themed around your favorite super heroes and villains in Orlando and that’s by heading over to Universal Orlando‘s Islands of Adventure! At Marvel Super Hero Island, you can jump into the comic inspired world and ride attractions with Hulk (trust me….you don’t want to make him angry…or maybe you do….that coaster’s launch is intense!), or Spider-man (and when I say that The Amazing Adventures of Spider-man is still one of the best attractions in Orlando, I mean it).
But what happens if you’re touring around visiting the X-Men or Captain America and you start to get hungry. Look no further than Cafe 4. This quick service dining location can be found right near The Incredible Hulk Coaster and you’ll recognize it by the big giant number 4 in a circle.
Walking inside, you will immediately realize that this restaurant is themed around the Fantastic Four characters. You’ll see them plastered up on the wall. The restaurant’s aesthetic is very sleek with lots of silver and blue. There are a large number of tables for Guests to be able to sit and dine at.
Menu options here include Italian dishes, like pizzas, pasta, and sandwiches.
I tried the Chicken Parmesean. This was a good size piece of chicken served with pasta. For a quick service meal, I thought it was quite good. The pasta was cooked al dente, the sauce had good flavor, though I could have used some more of it, and the chicken was delicious.
My husband got the pizza slice and this was a LARGE slice! It was covered in pepperoni and even came with a Cesar salad that was fresh and crisp. It was absolutely plenty of food for him.
Another member of our party got the spaghetti and meatballs. This was the same spaghetti I was served, however it came with two very large meatballs. They had good flavor and were covered in sauce. This dish was also served with a yummy, garlicky breadstick. I wished my chicken had been served with this too.
Last dish our party tried was the chicken Parmesan sandwich. This was the same chicken that I was served on a large roll, but there were two pieces of chicken!
Overall, Cafe 4 delivers on food options! You can certainly leave here full, and we all did.
Oh and if you’re looking to experience a character meal, you won’t want to miss the Marvel Character Dinner that’s offered here.
