- At Epcot, the Egg-stravaganza Easter scavenger hunt is back! This hunt lets Guests search for hidden Disney-themed eggs throughout World Showcase. This year, the Egg-stravaganza will last even longer as it will run through the end of the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival on May 29. Guests can purchase a specially themed map for $5.99 plus tax at Pin Central, Disney Traders, or World Traveler. They can then return the completed map to Disney Traders, they’ll receive a special surprise!
- Guests can take advantage of the new in-park ticket sales location located in Liberty Square beginning today. he new Liberty Square Ticket Office will open at the Heritage House, next to Hall of Presidents. The current in-park ticket sales location found at the Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. has closed. Guests will be able to do the following at the Liberty Square Ticket Office:
- Upgrading tickets by adding additional days or options (such as the Park Hopper option)
- Upgrading tickets to an annual pass
- Additional Annual Passholder services
- Replacing a lost ticket
- Making dining reservations and event bookings
- Cirque du Soleil La Nouba will be ending it’s almost 20 year run on December 31. La Nouba dazzled audiences in Disney Springs with its breathtaking blend of daring acrobatics and dazzling choreography. It is expected that another Cirque du Soleil show will replace La Nouba, however that has not been confirmed.
- Kiehl’s, a high-quality skin, hair and body care products store is now open in Town Center at Disney Springs.
- Raglan Road will be hosting its annual Mighty St. Patrick’s Day Festival from March 16-19.
- Typhoon Lagoon‘s newest waterslide will open on March 12. Miss Adventure Falls brings to life the story of Captain Mary Oceaneer, a treasure-hunting heroine who got stranded with her pet parrot at Typhoon Lagoon years ago by the famous rogue storm that hit the area. During the attraction, Guests will be transported in their 4 person treasure rafts by conveyor to the top of the slide. On the way, they will pass by Mary’s wrecked ship where her animatronic parrot is talking alongside their treasures. Then, a white-water adventure will take them through twists, turns and dips where they will see deep-sea artifacts Captain Oceaneer collected. Miss Adventure Falls will have a total ride time of two minutes and will be the longest attraction at Typhoon Lagoon.
- Disney’s newest DVC resort, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins will open at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge on July 17! Sales the latest DVC resort will begin on March 8 for current Disney Vacation Club Members. General sales will begin on April 5. Guests looking to book stays in these new rooms will be able to do so beginning March 21. Copper Creek Villas & Cabins will feature the comforts of home and the wonders of the wilderness. Copper Creek Villas & Cabins will include deluxe studios, one and two bedroom villas, as well as three-bedroom Grand Villas. Each unit will include a well-appointed kitchen, expanded storage space and private patios or balconies. The resort will also include 26 waterfront cabins that can sleep up to eight Guests and feature two bedrooms, two baths and large dining and living room spaces. The cabins will have floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed wooden beams, interior-exterior stone-hearth fireplace and open-style kitchen. Cabins will also include screened-in wraparound porches with a built-in hot tub.
