- The cable network, Turner Classic Movies (TCM), is the official new sponsor of The Great Movie Ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The new partnership will include new signage and marketing that features TCM’s logo. Plus, guests will enjoy new digital movie posters and will be able to view a new pre-ride video featuring Robert Osborne, the host of many Turner Classic Movies programs, who will provide insights and stories from classic movies. In addition, an updated finale will feature a new movie montage of movie moments. Finally, when guests exit the attraction, they’ll have the opportunity to take photos with a classic movie theme.
- The fourth band has debuted at Epcot in World Showcase. This new band is called the Paul McKenna Band and they play acoustic folk music. The four-piece ensemble can be found outside the The Crown and Crest shop at 11:00 a.m., 11:50 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 1:40 p.m., 2:35 p.m., 3:35 p.m. and 4:50 p.m. The British Revolution continues to play in the garden section of the pavilion.
- The Food Truck Park on Downtown Disney’s West Side has officially opened. There are spots to sit and dine and there’s also a section where live performers can play music. The Food Trucks typically begin serving guests around 4:00 p.m.
