- New animals are joining Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Guests may see a pack of six fun-loving and social painted dogs, as they join the savanna.
- Tarzan has been relocated to an area by the Disney Vacation Club kiosk on Discovery Island.
- Star Wars has now arrived at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. There is the Jedi Training: Trails of the Temple, Star Wars Launch Bay, meet and greet opportunities, special food, Star Wars: Path of the Jedi movie, and more. - “Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular!” fireworks show will begin on December 18.
- For those looking to take the Star Wars experience up to the next level, starting Jan. 5, 2016, and continuing nightly through March 19 take part in a special Star Wars-themed dessert party. Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party will include Star Wars-themed desserts, a souvenir Chewbacca stein, and a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, all with an up-close view of “Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular!” Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party can be booked by calling 407-939-3463.
- The Diamond Horseshoe at the Magic Kingdom will operate seasonally through December 18. The Quick Service menu will offer a ham and cheese sandwich, BBQ turkey and a chef salad.
- At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, the Uzima Pool and Uzima Springs Pool Bar at Jambo House will be down for refurbishment December 14-16.
- At Disney’s Pop Century Resort there is a nightly Tree Lighting Ceremony. Nightly Tree Lighting ceremonies will run until December 26 in Classic Hall promptly at 5:00 p.m.
- At Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, three Pixar Animation Studios artists recently signed the chandelier in the lobby. Guests can now look for signatures from:
- Pete Docter – Director and Vice President, Creative, Pixar Animation Studios. His credits include “A Bug’s Life,” “Toy Story,” “Toy Story 2,” “Monsters Inc.,” “WALL*E,” “Up” and “Inside Out.”
