- Disney has increased ticket prices again. The price of Magic Kingdom single day park tickets increased by $4 to cost $99, for those ages 10 and up. In continuing with a precedent that occurred during the last ticket increase, park admission for Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will continue to cost be just a little cheaper. At these three parks, single day tickets will cost $94 for ages 10 and up. Also a $4 increase. For a full list of the ticket price increases, make sure to check out our Ticket Information page.
- New Rapid Fill refillable mugs have been introduced property-wide. Click here for more information on how the Rapid Fill system works.
- The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival dates have been announced! The good news is that the Festival starts one week earlier and gives guests a total of 53 days worth of food and wine fun! The official dates are September 19 – November 10.
- Speaking of Epcot Festivals, the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival will once again offer the Outdoor Kitchens, which will serve up fresh food and beverages that gather their inspiration from springtime flavors. - Star Wars Weekends will see a fifth weekend this year! In addition, there will be a fireworks show shown nightly during the event. Unfortunately, that means that the Hyperspace Hoopla will be no more. Also announced is that James Arnold Taylor, a voice actor who is the voice of hundreds of animated characters, including Obi-Wan Kenobi on Star Wars: The Clone Wars, will return as this year’s celebrity host. - Downtown Disney will see a fantastic St. Patrick’s Day Festival this year! Of course, Raglan Road is the centerpiece of it all and they will be holding the Mighty St. Patrick’s Day Festival. From March 7 -17, Raglan Road will showcase talented Irish bands, as well as celebrate their heritage with delicious food! Additional events for St. Patrick’s Day Weekend include:
- The Raglan Road Dancers, performing daily
- Renowned Irish dancer and choreographer Ronan McCormack of the original Riverdance cast, leading Irish Dance Workshops “From Roots to Riverdance”
