- The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is approaching, with the kick off date now being September 19. The Eat to the Beat Concert Series is one of the best aspects about this annual event and we now know the artists performing and the dates they are performing on. They include:

- Sept. 22-23 – The Pointer Sisters
- Sept. 24-25 – Rick Springfield
- Sept. 26-27 – Christopher Cross
- Sept. 28-29 – Hanson

- Oct. 3-5 – Starship featuring Mickey Thomas
- Oct. 6-8 – Sugar Ray
- Oct. 9-10 – Fuel
- Oct. 11-12 – Sister Hazel
- Oct. 13-14 – TBD
- Oct. 15-16 – Billy Ocean
- Oct. 17-19 – Night Ranger
- Oct. 20-22 – Smash Mouth
- Oct. 23-24 – Jim Brickman

- Dates have been announced for this year’s Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. For more information and pricing, click on the respective links.
- The Carousel of Progress had a previously announced refurbishment, however, it now looks like those dates have changed. Carousel of Progress will now be closed from May 17-22 and September 22-27.
- This year, during Star Wars Weekends, the stage presentations, are now offering the ability for guests to make FastPass+ reservations. These presentations include:
- An Ewok’s Tale: My Short Story, Starring Warwick Davis (Weekend II only)
- Behind the Force – Star Wars: Rebels
- Obi-Wan and Beyond starring James Arnold Taylor
- Stars of the Saga Star Wars Celebrity Talk Show
- Visit to the Maul, starring Ray Park (Weekend III and IV only)
The shows are all considered to be Tier 1 choices, which puts them in line with attractions like Rock ‘n Roller Coaster and Toy Story Mania. As with other Tier 1 attractions, you may only choose one experience in this category.
- Donald and Daisy will now be meeting guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in the Discovery Island section of the park at the Character Landing.
- A brand new presentation will take place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom involving macaws. This new bird show, called “Winged Encounters – The Kingdom Takes Flight” will involve six macaws who will fly around Discovery Island. In addition, they will be available for up close encounters with the birds and the ability to learn more about them.
- Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Parade will see it’s last performance on May 31. No additional parade will be taking place at this time due to construction going on in the park. Disney’s Animal Kingdom recently announced a Rivers of Light nighttime spectacular that will be added to the park, as well as Festival of the Lion King, which will premiering in the new Harambe Theater in June.
