- Cinderella’s Royal Table at the Magic Kingdom will see a two month refurbishment, from January 5 through March 6.
- Two new VIP tours have been introduced at Walt Disney World. The first is called the The Ultimate Day for Young Families – Walt Disney World VIP Tour Experience and the second is The Ultimate Day of Thrills – Walt Disney World VIP Tour Experience. Each of the tours costs $299, per person. Guests will be able to have access to seven rides across three different parks parks, as well as a sit-down lunch at a Disney resort. These new options can be booked at 407-WDW-TOUR up to 180 days in advance.
- Snow White has moved again at the Magic Kingdom. Guests will now be able to find her in front of the Town Square Theater on Main Street USA. (Town Square Theater is where Mickey Mouse and Tinkerbell meet.)
- Also, Peter Pan will be moving from Fantasyland to Adventureland, right near the Adventureland bridge.
- A brand new special event is taking place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this summer and if you’re a Frozen fan, you’re going to love it! The event is called Frozen Summer Fun – Live and will take place from July 5 – September 1. During your visit to the Studios, guests will be able to experience:
- Olaf on Summer Vacation: Grab your own Take-Along Olaf (available in many locations around the park) so he can join you on your summer vacation. When sharing the fun with Olaf via social media sites, make sure to include the hashtag #OlafSummerVacation, as they may potentially be selected to appear as part of the evening’s fireworks spectacular.
- Anna and Elsa’s Royal Welcome: Each day, at 11:00 a.m. a Frozen mini-parade will take place. The parade will start with Anna and Elsa who will make their way down Hollywood Boulevard in a horse-drawn sleigh. Guests will also get the chance to see Kristoff, as well as skaters, skiers, ice cutters and more! The procession will end at the Sorcerer’s Hat Stage to with a special welcome ceremony.
- For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration: Guests will head inside the Premiere Theater to experience the Royal Historians of Arendelle (as well as Anna and Elsa) for a comedic retelling of the unique history of Arendelle. This 20 minute show will also feature sing-along moments from Frozen.
- Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post & Frozen Funland: Inside Soundstage One, Oaken has created a Frozen Funland filled with a “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” kids play area, a frozen pond with ice skating demonstrations, ice artisans carving gorgeous works of ice art, Frozen merchandise for sale, and special Frozen-inspired food and beverage offerings. Guests will also have the chance to take pictures with the film’s animated characters in a virtual setting and then be able to share them via social media outlets.
- “Coolest Summer Ever” Dance Party: Starting at 5:30 p.m. each evening, head for the Sorcerer’s Hat Stage, where a DJ will spin tunes. Guests can also catch a live band who will perform rock and roll hits, as well as a Frozen medley.
- Frozen Fireworks Spectacular: At 9:45 p.m. join Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf at the Sorcerer’s Hat Stage for a fireworks extravaganza set to the music of Frozen!
