Have you ever dined, bowled or both & Splitsville Luxury Lanes in Disney Springs? If you haven’t, I highly suggest adding it to your bucket list! This is one of the most underrated establishments at the Walt Disney World Resort. It is great to do on your arrival day, a non-park day or if you’re just looking to do something more low-key.
Splitsville is the perfect place for parties of all ages. You can bowl, bowl & dine or just dine. When my family went to Disney Springs on our trip, I surprised my younger sister with a night at Splitsville, so my mom & stepdad could have a date! We had one of the most fun nights I have ever had at Walt Disney World.
We opted to eat while we bowled & I did have a dining reservation booked. The nice thing about Splitsville is it’s not super busy. Typically you can walk right up or you don’t have to worry about booking at your Advance Dining Reservation window! Additionally, they were super flexible with the cancellation fee, I’m assuming because they’re not Disney owned. We were running late because we were staying off property on this trip & got caught in traffic and they had no issues pushing the reservation back with no cancellation fee applicable.
When we arrived, we had the option of also adding things like bowling socks to our purchase when we checked in. We opted to bowl while we dined, so we were given a booth right next to a lane. We were given a pager until our table was ready, but we did not have to wait long!
We were then escorted upstairs to our lane & table. After a quick look at the menu, we decided to split a couple things-the nachos & the chicken strips. My sister is a bit of a picky eater, and this really was the perfect place for her! Both appetizers were absolutely delicious. They really took a simple pub food & made it special. The breading on the chicken strips was one of a kind, and the nachos had ground beef & cheese sauce. Everything was delicious!
It was also quite affordable. We were not on the Dining Plan this trip so we were eating budget savvy. This was one of the better places to dine at while not on a dining plan because it is so affordable! While many of the dishes were something you might find in a regular chain restaurant, they really up their game & bring something special to the table-literally!
As for the bowling-again, it was something so simple that they really made a ton of fun! Some of the balls had Mickey Mouse on them, and the bowling experience was top notch. Bowling is something that people of all ages have enjoyed for many years. But enjoying it in Disney, with delicious food & drinks? Even better!
All in all-one of the most memorable experiences I have had on Walt Disney World property. Make sure you check out Splitsville on your next trip!
