Hello fellow force wielders! If you are like me, and are completely and utterly obsessed with all things Star Wars, then you are counting down the seconds until the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! The land opens up at Disneyland Resort on May 31, 2019 and Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort on August 29, 2019. And guess what? It has been announced that even more details and stories about the land will be released at the Star Wars Celebration Chicago on Saturday April 13!

Now, Star Wars Celebration is the gathering for Star Wars fans from all over the world to be immersed in everything Star Wars. Panels, celebrities, Star Wars news about new films, video games, books, etc, merchandise, activities, meet and greets, cosplay, and more! Oh my!
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Panel
So this year, Star Wars Celebration Chicago takes place from April 11-15. On that Saturday the 13, one of the many panels happening is the “Bringing Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to Life at Disney Parks” panel from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. to bring brand new details about the immersive lands to light! According to StarWars.com, team members from Walt Disney Imagineering and Lucasfilm will be there to share stories about their experience of bringing Star Wars to life. How will guests be able to live their own Star Wars story? We get to find out! Also, apparently there are some surprises in store. The force is strong with this one…

For those who are not able to attend the celebration, The Star Wars Show will be streaming panels LIVE from Friday, April 12 to Monday, April 15. They will be showing us the panels, sites, sounds, and fun from the celebration, including the Galexy’s Edge panel!
