One of my favorite stops to make sure I visit when I head to Epcot is the Fountainview. This is where Guests will find the Starbucks for the park.
This Starbucks has everything Guests could want. They have all the classic beverages, they have the pastries and sandwiches that Starbucks is known for, oh and they frequently have unique Disney treats too! (Like this Mickey Mouse domed cupcake.)
This is also a relatively large Starbucks location. While there aren’t tables to sit at inside, there are two large counters where Guests can choose to go to place their orders. Guests will choose which line they want to get in when they enter the building.
While this Starbucks location is incredibly busy, they are very efficient. Beverages come out quickly with around maybe a 5 minute wait.
One other bit of news. All the Walt Disney World Starbucks locations now offer paper straws for their cold beverages. They have all done away with the plastic options. (Previously, only the Disney’s Animal Kingdom location offered the paper straws in an effort to protect the animals found in the park.)
On my recent visit, I stopped and got a venti iced coffee. It was exactly what was necessary, as the temperature was getting a little warm. (Tip: for those on the Disney Dining Plan, a tall is a snack, a grande is a snack, and and venti is a snack! So, get the venti! It all costs the same!)
While there is no seating inside, there are a few tables outside for Guests to enjoy their beverage or treat. I do wish there was more room for tables, but trust me when I say that this location uses all the space provided in the best way possible. I very much enjoyed getting a spot to sit outside and enjoy my drink and catch up with my family.
So, the next time you’re in Epcot and looking for a great caffeinated beverage, this is a great spot to visit. There’s something so nice about walking around the park with your favorite drink in hand. (I do run on Disney and coffee…so it’s a perfect combo.)
