Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and today, we have something a little different for a Mother’s Day topic! I thought it would be fun to talk about where you can find different “Disney Mom” meet and greets around Walt Disney World and Disneyland! Here we go!
Fairy Godmother
Everyone LOVES Fairy Godmother. Let me tell you, she is a very popular character, everyone always lining up to meet the beautiful “Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo” woman. At Walt Disney World, Fairy Godmother does not show up every day. However, you can check to see if she is greeting guests the day you are visiting by using the My Disney Experience App and clicking on character meet and greets. When she is out and about, she is usually behind Cinderella Castle, or sometimes over in New Fantasyland. In Disneyland, she can sometimes be found to the left of Sleeping Beauty Castle. However, this can be fairly random. She can also be met at the Plaza Inn Character Breakfast sometimes.
The Evil Queen
Snow White’s infamous stepmother can be hard to find in Walt Disney World. However, she can now be found at the new Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge! The dining experience is in the theme of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and the Evil Queen can be found lurking in the shadows. She also up around Halloween time at Mickey’s Not so Scary Halloween Party. At Disneyland, she can be found in Fantasyland, near Snow White’s Scary Adventures, Sleeping Beauty Castle, or It’s a Small World.
Lady Tremaine
Ahh the Tremaines…Cinderella’s step family can be some of the most fun character meet and greets. While Anastasia and Drizella can sometimes be found out and about at Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom, Lady Tremaine can be a little tougher to find. She will sometimes join her daughters to greet guests in Fantasyland, but she can also be found at 1900 Park Fare in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. At Disneyland, she only appears at Halloween time.
