- This summer, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will debut “Rivers of Light: We Are One.” “Rivers of Light: We Are One” will introduce stunning imagery and familiar animal characters from the hit Disneynature films, along with classic moments from favorite Disney animation films. “Rivers of Light: We Are One” debuts Memorial Day Weekend. - Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will debut an all new fireworks show for 2019. This new show will feature state-of-the-art projection effects, lasers, lighting and dazzling fireworks that come together to take guests along on a trick-or-treating adventure with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy who find themselves drawn into a mysterious haunted house. The journey takes them from one room of the house to another, encountering dancing skeletons, waltzing ghosts and a whole series of troublemaking Disney villains. More information can be found here.
- A new mask painting experience is available in the Italy pavilion at Epcot. Located in the mask shop La Gemma Elegante, a resident artist will be on hand to assist Guests with painting their very own Italian mask for display. The experience lasts 30 minutes long and will cost $30.00 per person. Reservations for the activity can only be made inside the shop.
- The Trophy Room in the Town Center at Disney Springs will be closing on May 31. Founded by Marcus Jordan and opened in June 2016, the store is inspired by the real-life trophy room of his father, Michael Jordan. According to the company, the store will be shifting operations to online-only. The boutique will be moving to a new location in the Orlando area.
