- Guests with strollers who visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom will participate in a test to make the stroller parking and pick-up experience easier. As part of this test, new stroller parking zones will be introduced at select shows and attractions. Guests who are renting strollers at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will receive a specialty tag at the time of rental when they enter the park. Those who bring in their own strollers will receive a tag when they visit their first attraction. Tags will be colored and will correspond with one of three newly-designated stroller parking zones at each participating show and attraction.
- Walt Disney World Resort officially revealed the location of the new Star Wars-inspired hotel. This new resort is currently under development on the south side of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, just east of World Drive. This location will allow the experience to be seamlessly connected to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, enabling guests to fully immerse themselves in the story of Star Wars.
- An all-new Disney Junior show is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this fall. “Disney Junior Dance Party!” will be a live show experience featuring the most popular Disney Junior shows including Mickey and the Roadster Racers, Doc McStuffins, The Lion Guard, and Vampirina. The new show will be a musically infused, interactive concert, hosted by Finn Fiesta and a DJ – named Deejay – who involve Guests in all the fun, including live appearances from some of your favorite characters, fun music from Disney Junior, and much more. To make way for the new show, “Disney Junior – Live on Stage!” will have its last performance on September 1.
- The Minnie Van service is now available to all Walt Disney World Resort Guests through the Lyft app. The service offers a convenient way for Guests to travel to and from Disney’s theme parks, water parks, hotels, Disney Springs, and more. To use the Minnie Van Service, Guests will just need to download the Lyft app on their mobile device, open it from anywhere at Walt Disney World Resort and select the Minnie Van option.
