- The Affection Section petting zoo at Rafiki’s Planet Watch is now open at Disney’s Animal Kingdom once again. Each day, Affection Section will admit a limited number of Guests into the petting area to meet with goats and other family-friendly wildlife. Affection Section is following enhanced safety guidelines based on direction from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). Guests are being admitted in small groups and asked to maintain at least six feet of physical distance between parties at all times. Convenient handwashing stations are available for use upon entry and exit from Affection Section.
- Harambe Market will reopen during weekends and on peak days at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The Walt Disney World quick-service dining location will be open during lunch hours from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. and will offer a modified menu featuring some Guest-favorite dishes and a few new options like a Harambe salad and chicken nuggets for kids. Guests wishing to dining at Harambe Market should place their order through Mobile Order on the My Disney Experience app.
