Guests who prefer to sit down, cool off and enjoy a relaxing dining experience should consider Table Service dining. These meals are available all over Walt Disney World property and most do require (or at least strongly recommend) advance dining reservations. When using the Disney Dining Plan, finding the best one table service credit restaurants before you travel will help take away the stress of choosing meal locations and finding availability during your vacation. Our Disney experts have put together a list of restaurants by location and by cuisine to help you plan. Also, check out our top themed Disney Table Service restaurants and best Walt Disney World quick-service restaurants pages.
Before getting into specifics, a few general things to think about in terms of value. Most of the time, dinner would cost more when paying out-of-pocket, so using a Table Service credit then will impart more of a value for you. Similarly, character meals and other “all-you-can-eat” style locations generally have a higher per-person cost than others, so the value you get from your Table Service credit will be “worth” more overall. So as a general principle, if you want to get the most value out of your dining plan, you should schedule some character meals at dinner.
However, don’t just schedule a bunch of buffets at dinner on a quest for value if that doesn’t fit the style and needs of your family. You can get great value anytime during the day, and the best value is being able to have the experience you and your family want on your vacation.
