There are two miniature golf courses at Walt Disney World, Winter Summerland and Fantasia Gardens. Each course is intricately themed, and they each feature two 18-hole courses apiece. These courses are a lot of fun, and make for a great break from the theme parks. Often there are special offers and deals to play miniature golf, so keep your eyes open for some significant savings.

Location and Transportation:
Winter Summerland miniature golf is located adjacent to Blizzard Beach water park; in fact, they share a parking lot! Parking is complimentary to guests at Winter Summerland and Blizzard Beach. Bus transportation is offered to Blizzard Beach/Winter Summerland; however, guests will likely have to transfer buses.
Pricing:
Winter Summerland and Fantasia Gardens have the same pricing which is $19.00 for adults (age 10+) and $12.00 for children (Age 3-9). Children under age 3 are free. Be aware that there are often savings and discounts available. For example a second game is 50% off, and there is always an annual pass discount.

The Course:
Winter Summerland features two 18-hole miniature golf courses. These courses are themed to represent Santa’s vacation destination. One course is themed to winter at the North Pole and the busy season for Santa and his elves, while the other course is themed to summertime and Santa’s vacation season. The two courses are very similar to play, the theming is what sets the two apart.
As miniature golf amateurs we found the course to be quite challenging, but also a lot of fun. Every hole has a plaque with a short rhyme about the elves silly antics, and each hole had some kind of fun and unique challenge. The theming is quite kitschy and cheesy, but that is what miniature golf is all about, right?! Everything is themed at Winter Summerland, from the entrance featuring Santa’s sleigh to the background Christmas music, guests are ensconced in a world of silliness and Christmas cheer.
The Winter Summerland miniature golf course is fairly well-shaded, which is a great benefit in the sunshine state. There are restrooms available at the course. Drinks and snacks are available for purchase.

The Course:
Fantasia Gardens miniature golf course was the first miniature golf course built at Disney. It is divided into 2 separate courses. The Fantasia Gardens course and the Fantasia Fairway course. The Fantasia Gardens course is themed the Walt Disney’s famous film Fantasia. The Gardens course is a typical miniature golf course with fun and interactive elements at each hole. The Fantasia Fairways course features less theming in favor of a more realistic golfing experience. This course is extremely challenging and is more of a literal miniature golf course. The Fairways course is like a traditional golf course on a much smaller scale.
Fantasia Gardens miniature golf is a great experience for the whole family to enjoy. More intense golfers will enjoy the challenging Fairways course, while kids and families can have a blast on the Gardens side of the course. The Gardens course features moments from famous scenes in Fantasia with some special effects that are cool to see. While this is a challenging miniature golf course it is still a lot of fun, and a great opportunity for some friendly, family competition.
The Fantasia Gardens miniature golf course is not very well-shaded, so it is important to come prepared for the Florida sunshine. There are restrooms available at the course. Drinks and snacks are available for purchase.
