Disney Springs Area Resort Hotels

Disney Springs Area Resorts

Disney Springs Area Resort Hotels (formerly Downtown Disney hotels) are not official Walt Disney World Resorts.  They are located in the Disney Springs area. They are conveniently located near the shopping, dining, and entertainment of the Disney Springs area.

Both rooms and hotel packages for Disney Springs Area Resort Hotels can be booked directly through their hotel web sites or most travel agencies. Limited Disney packages are also available directly through Disney (not available to book online) or a travel agency. Disney Springs Area Resort Hotels are subject to the same WDTC Terms for deposit, cancellation & payment as Disney’s Packages. We recommend using a Disney specialized travel agency, such as The Magic For Less Travel, with experience and training in reserving all types of Disney packages.

Disney Springs Area Resort Hotels guests are now eligible for Walt Disney World Resort benefits. These resorts, however, do not offer Disney’s Dining Plan. Many guests first consider these resorts to try and save money. However, there may be a discount that could help reduce the cost of the on-site Walt Disney World Resorts — thereby allowing guests to take advantage of all the Walt Disney World Resort benefits.

If you have questions about these changes, please contact an agent at The Magic For Less Travel.

Benefits of Disney Springs Area Resort Hotels

Guests of the seven Disney Springs Hotels enjoy free, unlimited transportation throughout the Walt Disney World Resort via their buses. Buses depart to and from the four Disney Theme Parks every 30 minutes and provide transportation to the two Disney Water Parks. Bus Route A services the Hilton Orlando Resort, Holiday Inn, B Resort, and Doubletree Guest Suites. Bus Route B services the Best Western, Wyndham, and Buena Vista Palace Hotel & Spa. Transportation to Disney’s Blizzard Beach & Typhoon Lagoon Parks varies seasonally. Additionally, access to Disney transportation buses is just a short walk from a few of the Downtown Disney hotels.

The following are available at Disney Springs Resort Hotels:

  • Extra Magic Hours
  • Disney tickets available for purchase at each hotel
  • Advance tee times and discounts at all Disney golf courses
  • Disney gift stores located in each hotel
